I stand against all rhetoric!

If I’m invited to your mosque and danger comes through the door, I’ll stand with you. If you’re Jewish and harassed for wearing a Star of David, I’ll stand with you. If you’re gay, straight, Christian, atheist, transgender, left, right, or none of the above — if you need help, I’ll stand with you.
And I’m willing to bet that the large majority of hardworking Americans that the extremes on the left side of the aisle (people like me) like to villainize would stand up for you too. Not because they agree with you on everything, but because we have to get back to respecting human life again.
Extremists dehumanize anyone different and that my friends is going to tear our country apart, when we don’t see each other as human, That makes it easy to call for violence. I reject that. I condemn hatred, violence, and intimidation — no matter who the victim is.
America works when we’re neighbors first and We aren’t as different as they want us to believe.
That’s the leadership I’ll bring to North Carolina.
