Let's talk about Disney, pedophiles, and Customs and Border Protection.

Roughly 10 Disney Magic crew members were detained on April 23. In all CBP boarded 8 cruise ships out of Sandiefo Port, as part of their child porn investigation. The operation led to numerous arrests, detentions, and visa revocations involving crew members.
This matters politically because, during the same period, Congress spent months fighting over funding for the Department of Homeland Security, which includes agencies such as CBP and ICE.
I've been critical of some ICE practices. For example, I don't think detainees should be paraded around for social media content or political theater. I will also protect your rights as lawful residents and if your rights are violated. But acknowledging those concerns doesn't mean these agencies don't perform important functions for the American people.
Operations targeting child predators, trafficking, and related crimes are part of that mission. It's possible to support accountability and oversight while also recognizing that agencies like CBP and ICE play a role in protecting communities and keeping pedophiles away from your innocent kids on their vacation.
