I pledged for Term Limits. My opponent, Ya Liu did not. She voted against this in the NC Assembly, a Resolution for Termi Limits. There is a way we can do it, but requires having state legislatures that pledge for term limits.
If we’re gonna change this, we have to do it as outsiders, because dug-in politicians will NEVER give up control. I pledged with U.S. Term Limits to support.
State legislatures must call for an Article V convention specifically for proposing a congressional term limits amendment. You need 34 state legislatures (two-thirds of the states) to pass these applications for the convention to be legally triggered.
